If you are an art aficionado, you shouldn’t miss the unique exhibition, Age No Bar – III, at All India Fine Arts & Craft Society (AIFACS), 1 Rafi Marg 23rd Dec to 29th Dec 2016. Curated by Joyattam Dutta Roy, this is a group show of Paintings by young child artists.
Art Exhibition of students was inaugurated by Mr Amitabh Kant (CEO, Niti Aayog) and Paresh Maiti (Padma Sri and renowned artist) is one step of encouragement to these young artist who paint with passion.
“My emotions, my strengths all of them have found space on my canvases and that has become extremely important for me. Since the age of four, I have been drawing and scribbling and as I grew, those drawings became improved artworks and I found my way into the world of contemporary art”, says Ananya Dalmia .
Another artist Suramya Sud is from Sanskriti school of Delhi and believes in expressing herself through her work. Her painting of a young girl with the paint brush seems to not just be a mirror image of hers but also the open door signifies many opportunities lying ahead.
Her first kindergarten report card said, Suramaya has a keen hand in art and so she must be encouraged. Since then, Suramaya has been working and progressing in the field of art under the mentorship of Mr. Jayottam Dutta Roy.
Many of Suramaya’s paintings have been given to various dignitaries at junior school functions. She dreams to be an artist and paint her own creative world.
