Ingredients

  • Duck Breast - 4 pieces
  • Flour - 2 Tbsp
  • Chili Powder - 3 Tsp
  • Sea-salt - 3 Tsp
  • White Oil -To Fry
  • Red Chilli - 1
  • Spring Onion - 3
  • Lemon - 2
  • Schezwan Peppercorn - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt - To Taste

For the dip

  • Rice Vinegar - ½ cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Water - 1/4th cup
  • Garlic cloves - 3
  • Dry Chilli Flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • Cornstarch - 1-1/2 Tbsp

Method of Preparation

Place the duck breasts in a heat-proof pan. Place the pan in a steamer and let the breasts steam for about 12 minutes.

Meanwhile, take a bowl and mix together the flour, chilli powder and salt. Once you have taken the duck out of the steamer and it has cooled down toss it thoroughly in this mixture.

In a pan, heat oil and deep fry the duck breasts. Once done, keep it aside.

Now, for the dip ? in a bowl whisk together the rice vinegar, sugar, chilli flakes, garlic and water together. Let it cook and boil for a few minutes. Now lower the heat and add the cornstarch. Let the dip thicken.

Slice the duck breasts. Pour the dip thoroughly over the duck.

Garnish the duck with chilli and spring onion from the top.

The duck is ready to serve.

This duck is mouth-wateringly delicious but as you can see it is absolutely easy to prepare with very simple ingredients.

Let your guests wonder at your culinary expertise while you take pride in it.
